How to use the Directory

The first drop down menu will narrow the search to an Australian State. The second drop down menu will give you the option to narrow your search further by city or region. The third drop menu is the category list. There are currently 16 categories. As the directory expands the category list will be expanded with it. If you do not find a category that you think the business you are looking for is in, look in the “All Others” category. When a category is selected the final drop down menu will show the sub-categories under that particular category. Some categories may not have sub-categories. Once you have chosen the menu items you are looking for press the “Search” button and you will be taken to that area of the directory.

All results will be displayed in “Sequential” order. All directory business listings are date stamped. This means that the businesses are listed by the order in which they have signed up with Italy Online™.

Once the results are displayed you can refine your search further by the “Sort Results” drop down menu. As described above, the “Sequential” listing is the default. You may also search by “Alphabetical” business name or by the “Suburb” that the business is in.

If you prefer just choose any drop down menu field and click “Search” to view the results for just that field. Or you may just click on the “Search” button without choosing any fields from the drop down menus. This will display all the directory listings.

You may also search the directory by typing in your query in the IOL™ Directory Quick Search Box at the top right of any page in the web site and click Go. You may type in the business name, suburb, postcode, etc. Once “Go” is clicked the results of the search will be displayed.
