WELCOME TO BUON GUSTO!
For 24 years, we have been situated on lovely, tree-lined Abercrombie Street in Chippendale, and just minutes from Sydney University. We are a fully licensed (and BYO!) restaurant with a friendly, warm, Italian (and English) speaking staff. Our authentic Italian food is cooked fresh daily for Lunch and Dinner as well as take-away meals. Buon Gusto offers only the freshest ingredients to our customers.
We specialize in seafood appetisers and main dishes including Calamari, Prawns, Oysters, Fish, Whitebait and Crab, prepared in a variety of ways. We also have a wonderful array of pastas including Fettucine and Spaghetti dishes, Lasagna and Cannelloni- just like you find in Italy! Our succulent veal, whether it is prepared Alfredo, Scallopine, Pizzaiola, Saltin Bocca or Cordon Bleu is sure to please even the most discriminating tastes!
To complete your perfect meal, we offer fresh, traditional Italian sweets including Torta della Casa, Zabaglione, Profiteroles and our Buon Gusto Specialty, Tiramisu.
We offer outdoor dining in the summer months and there is ample street parking during the day or you may park at nearby Sydney University after 5pm. Some weekends, you will be treated to the sounds of old Italian songs on the fisarmonica (accordion).
Our function room located upstairs is the perfect location for your business meeting, family party or celebration!
