The Devil may wear Prada, but does the Pope????

There is a lot of hype at the moment as to the origins of Pope Benedicts Red loafers.
Being the fashion savvy gal that I am,I felt compelled to investigate the origins of Pope Benedicts shoes.
There are many who believe the bright red shoes are Italian designers Prada and Prada spokespeople have neither confirmed or denied the story.
But the Vatican Newspaper contained a press release stating the popes shoes are made by the Vaticans Personal Italian Cobbler.
With the Pope here in Australia for WYD the hype surrounding the shoes has started again, and funnily enough the bright red shoes have caused a stir throughout the visit here.
