7 oz trimmed broccoli
1 clove of garlic
1 1/2 T butter
5 1/2 oz Grana Padano
1/2 c white wine

For the Polenta:
5 c water
coarse salt
12 oz yellow polenta meal

-Trim the broccoli and divide into heads, wash and cook in salted water
-Fry the garlic in a pan with a little oil and add the broccoli before it takes on too much colour. Leave to cook for a few minutes.
-Place a casserole with lightly salted water on the heat. When it comes to a boil, add the polent meal, stirring constantly.
-Cook for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. The poletna should be quite solid when ready.
-When the polenta is ready, remove it from the heat and add the grated Grana Padano and the broccoli.
-Mix well, place on a chopping board and serve. Sprinkle with finely sliced Grana Padano if desired.
Buon Appetito!
