Become an IOL Member

Italy Online™ is pleased to provide many different interactive and informational services throughout the website. Some of these services will require that you become a member of the Italy Online™ website. There are three types of membership and below are their descriptions. Casual and Purchasing memberships are FREE of charge. Please rest assured that all of your information will remain private and we will never pass this information on to any third party. See our “Privacy Policy” at the bottom of every Italy Online™ page for more information.

Casual Member: This first type of membership will allow you to receive our Monthly E-Newsletter and will allow your participation in the “Italian Forum” or “La Piazza”. Casual members will be able to view products but will not be able to purchase products and/or services from “IOL Shopping” or “IOL Mercato”.

Purchasing Member: This second type of membership will allow everything that the Casual membership allows PLUS the ability to purchase products and/or services from “IOL Shopping” or “IOL Mercato”. Credit card payments can be made by a secure online payment gateway through "Westpac Web Advantage".

Directory Member: This third type of membership is for businesses and services that have a listing in the “IOL Directory”. Gold Directory members will have the ability to modify their listing as they please through the IOL Content Management System. Directory members will have the same accessibility to the site as Casual and Purchasing members.
