Italy Online™ Returns and Refunds Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your new product, you must notify Italy Online™, herein referred to as IOL™, immediately via email at shopping@italyonline.com.au or via telephone at 02 9560 0433. At that time, we will discuss your options with you.
If the item purchased is a book, CD, DVD, or other media related product, it must remain in its original, unopened packaging and be accompanied by its original receipt. We will then provide you with a full refund or gladly exchange the item for equal value.
If the item purchased is a clothing or apparel item, the item must not have been worn and all tags must be on the item.
Items are not eligible for refund or exchange if:
- No proof of purchase is offered
- Customers simply change their mind or
- The goods have been damaged after purchase
Food items may not be returned or refunded unless the food product arrived spoiled or the item was defective. Please notify IOL™ immediately of this scenario.
Refunds will only be issued in the same method that you made the purchase. For example, you may not get cash back on an item that was paid for via credit card.
If you have purchased a gift certificate for someone and they are dissatisfied with it, there will be no return or refund issued. Consumers should also make sure that the gift certificate is kept in a safe place and treated like cash. If the certificate is lost, consumers may not be able to redeem them and IOL™ assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen gift certificates.
IOL™ does not refund shipping charges.* Special exception: If the item you have received arrives broken or spoiled, we will arrange shipping so that you are not charged a second time. If we then have to send out a replacement item, you will not be charged shipping on that replacement item only.
